After nearly two decades without significant improvements to their schools, Opportunity Harrison set out to pass a $180 million bond for Harrison School District 2. Our challenge: use design to convince a low-income community that the greatest return they will ever see is from investing in their kids.

We chose to simplify the campaign down to its most compelling truth: “They matter. Show them.” Combining a statement that cannot be argued alongside bold, guerilla-style design and real District 2 kids, the campaign felt authentic to its community.

The bond was overwhelmingly passed in November 2018 and District 2 kids are already seeing the investment in their education that they deserve.
