The Lodging and Automobile Rental Tax—effectionately known as LART—is a small tax placed on hotel stays and rental cars in the Pikes Peak Region. But what most people don’t know is that these taxes go directly back into building community for locals and tourists. It was a tall order, but this tax program needed a logo that was playful, inviting and colorful—just like our Colorado Springs community. From our most popular events and landmarks to our 300 days of sunshine, the new LART logo represents exactly why the Rangers love our hometown.
